Leucistic Sugar Glider Is Not Albino Sugar Glider
As I mentioned earlier, white sugar gliders are sometimes mistaken for albino sugar gliders. At first glance they do look alike, but in reality are two different types. White Sugar gliders or often referred to as Leucistic Sugar Glider, is a common sugar glider which has a color pigment, whereas albino sugar gliders do not have color pigment in their body. The main difference that can be a reference to distinguish the two types of sugar gliders is to look at their eyes. Black eyes of Leucistic Sugar Glider indicates that the sugar glider has a color pigment and not the type of albinism.
If observed carefully, fur owned by real albino sugar gliders colorless transparent, but due to refraction coupled with gradation and makes the environment fur albino sugar gliders looks as white. As it was, very easy to distinguish but in fact most people are still confused and misguided.
